Mission Beach real estate

Find a luxury home in Mission Beach. Or maybe a second home on the "Bayside"..

... Choose an ocean front home and be soothed to sleep by the surf and enjoy cool ocean breezes!

Mission Beach is a beach community that fronts onto the Pacific Ocean as well as Mission Bay.  Bathed in sunshine, living here is like a year round vacation! on one side is the Pacific Ocean and on the other Mission Bay.

The roads off Mission Blvd. are tiny "courts" named for famous beaches, spas, islands, and California missions with a mix of detached and attached homes as well as small condo developments.

Mission Beach is dead flat. Homes have very small lots on short narrow roads ending either on the ocean or bay. Only about three blocks wide and around 50 blocks long (north to south). There is a marina on the bayside.

Mission Beach is interrupted halfway down by a large park, a popular amusement park with a vintage roller coaster and a bridge link to Interstates 5 and 8.

Mission Beach feels like a resort with nice sandy beaches and busy boardwalks on both sides. It went through it's "flower child era" and can be very busy in the summer with lots of young people.

There is a very busy boardwalk, nearly 3 miles long, that runs the length of Pacific Beach. There is also a boardwalk along the bayfront.

Both are popular with walkers, skaters and cyclists.   Sunsets are a de facto timeout!

Many homes have direct access to the bayside beach,
with its wide expanse of sand and boardwalk.
